South Korean Game Studio, Action Square and Netflix Games have teamed up to launch a new title called Kingdom: The Blood. The action RPG is based on the hit Netflix show ‘Kingdom’.

The game was initially announced in September 2020 and more information was shared in August 2021. However, it wasn’t until now that Netflix decided to share some updates about Kingdom.

Netflix has released an official trailer for the game, which gives a taste of Kingdom: The Blood. You can watch the official trailer on YouTube here.

The famous Korean series Kingdom is based on a zombie apocalypse set in the Middle Ages. The series immediately came into the limelight when it came out. The soon-to-be released game will be available to Netflix subscribers.

Based on what the trailer reveals, it’s fair to say that Action Square and Netflix have put some effort into making the game look realistic. The developers and publishers have attempted to recreate the series’ medieval setting and apocalypse theme.

Players can customize their in-game character and progress through a campaign story. They can play different modes including conquest mode, multi-boss mode and PvP battles.

Since the game is set in the Middle Ages in South Korea, the developers have made sure to incorporate South Korean culture and history into the game. The most obvious sign of this is the dressing of in-game characters. To perfectly mimic the sword swings, the studio hired a Korean sword dancer.

So far, Netflix and Action Square have not announced a release date for Kingdom: The Blood Game. However, since the trailer is out, we can expect the game to come out in a few months.

Once released, players will be able to play the game on Android, iOS, and PC. You can keep an eye on the official Netflix Games website for more information about the game.
